A micrometer is used for setting blades to the required dimension. Reaming allowance recommended 0.12mm. to 0.17mm

The micrometric scale permits very fine adjustment of blades to correct size. Each division adding or reducing 0.02 mm on the diameter.

First four sizes covering 13.00mm to 19.00mm are provided with Tungsten Carbide Tipped blades for reaming through bores only extended blades for blind bore are not provided in this range.

Instead of Morse Taper parallel shank can
also be supplied on specific demand. additional length of the bore can be achieved by using extension sleeves.

Drills are a known devices in many waSpadeys surpasses twist Drills in the range 24mm onwards, as under:

Operational
1) Greater inherent Rigidity.
2). Heavier feed rates more than compensates for 10% to 15% reduction in RPM hence.
3).Faster production.
4). More chips clearance also adds to production speed.

New maching techniques require new tools, which in turn lead to new maching methods. This constant interreaction is the driving force which ultimately leads to progress. It is this very factor that leads to continuous development of tools and machine tools.
Numerical Control of machine tools represent a milestones in productio methods. However the increase in operating speed now possible, together with higher precision and production and automation, also places new demands on the tools.
